Cordelia’s New Films

That is right, I am a film star.  One can no longer call me simply a dog in a video, I do films, exclusively.  Here are my newest.

Ok, so it is mostly me breathing, but you really have no idea the torture I go through to get it just right for my scenes!

Cordelia’s Month & Sparky’s Visit

During the month since her last post Cordelia’s life has been full of lazy days:

In a sea of carpet, happyness abounds.

And, the best part, a visit from her best friend Sparky:

Cordelia Finds The Light

Dogs are very talented.  They can always find that one ray of sunshine in an otherwise shady room.

Hot & Hip Pet Beds

While many pets are happy to curl up the floor, it is good to have a warmer, more comfy place for your pet to sleep.  Afterall, we all like options. Speaking of options, there is an endless amount of pet beds out there for you to choose from and since it is something you will have out in your house, in plain view, why not choose something that looks as good as it functions?

Some of my favorites:

faux fur pet bed blanket

The Faux Bearskin, $30 from Loyal Luxe

Pet Camper

Pet Camper

suitcase pet bed

Suitcase Bed $65, Etsy

And a few that do double duty:

I think Cordelia needs the Faux Bearskin Rug, it reverses to plaid and looks classy, like her. Do you have a favorite or coveted pet bed?

Cordelia’s Week

Cordelia’s week mostly consisted of this:

morning routine

settling in

but there was also this:

don't touch my bone

i think we weigh the same

which made her so tired, she had to do more of this:

looking like a little sleepy mouse

Cordelia is looking forward to the adventures February will bring.  Mostly, she just wants to make sure we are well-stocked with bones, everything else is secondary.

This is possibly the worst video I have made yet, be thankful it is also the shortest! 😉

I had this series of photos (not all that well lit) of Cordelia eating pancakes, so I decided it was video flipbook time. I spent way too long making this subpar video, therefore, I cannot NOT share it.

Cordelia always gets a tiny plate of pancakes when I make them.  I don’t know why.  It isn’t that way with any other meal.  Why pancakes?  I suppose because it solves a problem or two like that little bit of batter left over at the end, or the accidental coin-sized drops.  And now, we have set a precedent.  When I make pancakes, Cordelia knows and she gets excited.

Here she is waiting for the ‘ok’ from me to devour her petite plate o’pancakes:

And yes, that is a side of bacon.

Now, without further hemming and hawing, here is the video:

Cordelia’s Christmas

For me, Christmas was…

The Christmas Tree, whose branches sheltered me.

And delicious Gifts, like these giant lamb bones (d. couldn’t separate the two, so I had to have them both, heartbreaking, yes?).  I’m sure I don’t know why I look like I’m possessed by an evil spirit in this photo.  m. did you doctor this photo to make me look like a ravenous evil beast?

And Snow!!!

And food.  I love the holiday season. In Yakima, there was always someone eating and they usually shared.  I did my best to look pathetic and starving, it definitely worked!

I tried to do a little exercising in between my begging.  Stretching is important to digestion.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without Sparky, with whom I shared the spoils of Christmas.

Lastly, Christmas means travel (and sleep, especially after all that food and all that running on carpet!)

We rode in Grandma’s car on the way home and m. had to give me her pillow to sleep on since I was having trouble getting traction on those slippery seats.  Would you believe m. laughed at me when I jumped into the car and started sliding around?  The nerve.

Now I am home, still taking naps under the tree, amongst all the dry needles, playing with the bag of catnip I got in my stocking, and crossing my paws that there are more of those bones in the freezer.
